Volunteer DE&I Lead wanted to champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion across the GRFU community.
You don’t need previous DE&I experience — just a genuine passion for fairness, a willingness to learn, and a desire to make a positive impact. Full support will be provided by Lisa Newman, GRFU Volunteers Lead and DE&I Consultant. You’ll never be left to tackle it alone!
🌈 In this role, you’ll:
Support GRFU and our clubs to build welcoming, inclusive rugby environments
Help promote Game for All, Pride in Rugby, International Women’s Day and more
Be a friendly contact for clubs, coaches, players or parents wanting advice
Collaborate with safeguarding, RugbySafe and volunteer teams to make inclusion second nature across our county
👀 You might be:
A player, coach, referee, or club member with a passion for people
Someone who knows what it feels like to not ‘fit in’ — and wants to change that
A great listener, connector, or behind-the-scenes champion Curious, compassionate, and ready to help rugby do better
We’ll give you access to training, peer support, and templates to make the role meaningful and manageable.
