Club Volunteer CoOrdinator [CVC]
Why do we need a club volunteer coordinator ?
The Club Volunteer Coordinator (CVC) is a key role within the club structure, and one that we strongly encourage our clubs to fill. Good Volunteer management in clubs is reliant upon effective leadership. A CVC is a dedicated leader that will help to inspire volunteers, supporting them in delivering their role successfully and encouraging them to become evermore committed to their role and the club.
This is a very social role. You’ll provide an important service to the club and community, and for a small investment of time you’ll get to meet all kinds of people. Doing something distinctive and worthwhile like this is attractive to potential employers, and the organisational and communication skills are transferable to any walk of life.
